    Rock Band 2

Just got it for the PS3 and finally got the drums instrument. And with the spare change left from the PSN card, i bought "Best Day Ever!" by Spongebob Squarepants.... and its awesome. The game definitely needs more cartoon themes... like Animaniacs.... or Tiny Toons... or both. Now im poor to buy any more. Anyone want to share theirs

Of all the music, you spent your first $1.99 on a Spongebob song in a game called Rockband? :elvis:
I'm kidding, you probably have had the game for awhile, I just thought I would have a bit of fun.

Nah, it's cool, I saw those tunes and thought about it, but I bought the Pearl Jam Ten Album, HeartBreaker by Pat Benatar, Journey's Don't Stop Believing, and the all Offspring Tracks recently.

I have almost every single one of the DL tracks in Rockband ($100's of Dollars), save for a few that I don't like, but Jacob, I think, bought every single one! *Gulp*

Great game, and there is code if you want to play all the songs without unlocking them first, but I wouldn't dig that up until you enjoy the game a bit.

Also, there is a TON of free Rockband Music, you should definitely look into, a bunch.

Hundreds of dollars? I think it's around a grand-ish now for the DLC.

I'm missin the past few weeks yet, but as soon as I snag up another 4,000 point card I'll be up to date.

Don't we have a Rock Band thread already, though?

Uh oh, don't tell me that, If I spent that kind of money on this game, I'm insane. It's so easy, $2 here, $20 there, I guess it adds up every week.

I do know it takes like a full two minutes for me to scroll through all the music I have...

I only have $1.08 actually and Spongebob was 0.99. If i had $2, i would have bought Journey. Only free tracks are the 20 with the code, Charlene, Still Alive and that one other. Already got it. And i cant find the old RB thread.

While there are a million other better songs they should have chosen, at least its a good intermission. Now if they can just get rid of those other Nick shows that i wont even bother to preview. Have Harmonix taken down a song from the Music Store?

I don't think so. Some songs may no longer be free after a while, though. Not sure if some were "limited freebies" or not.

I believe there was also the Miranda Cosgrove song from a few months ago (during the 500-song total week), and probably 1 or 2 more throughout the time, but for the life of me I can't remember what they are now.

Also, some of those songs may not be entirely difficult to play, but they can still be lots of fun. Good example is Papa Roach... the songs themselves are nothing too impressive, but they aren't all that bad to play, ESPECIALLY if you get a large group of people going, because there's good odds that most (if not all) of the people will know a song like Last Resort by now and just play or sing along. Gigantic unified experiences like that in Rock Band are awesome as hell, no matter how lame the song is.
