the new dismiss system notice is full of spelling errors and is slightly confusing, but also it directs you to a 404 error page. the new spoiler system also needs slight clarification, imo, but is warranted because of all the nonsense going on in MGS, as you're probably aware of.
Threads or posts can be "soft" deleted, and this will hide them from everyone but mods up.
i don't think anything needs it just yet, but just in case, how do you hide a thread from everyone except mods?
I recommend performing a "soft" delete of any threads/posts in the future. It disappears from non-mod eyes this way, without completely deleting the threads/posts from databases. It works very well for posts that look bad and might be needed as evidence later on. Anything that counts posts will drop posts if deleted, soft or otherwise.
hey man, if I got rid of some old threads, would people's thread count suddenly drop because of it? I saw some pretty useless threads in the back of Sony so I was curious.
You should only be able to edit posts in the PS3 section and Online section since it hosts RFOM matches and such. If you can edit outside of that ill need to tweak the permissions a bit. Thanks man.
