Futurama: The Beast with a Million Backs -
I was expecting a lot for the movie considering that i loved the first movie but this one is just disappointing with feeling that it is done too long. Sure there may be a some funny parts here and there but not enough to make me finish the movie without watching something else. Disappointing.

Yeah, "Bender's Big Score" left me kind of the same way, never mind the logical impossibilities in the narrative, but these sorta peter out after they pass the length of a Futurama episode.

    Really?

I would give it a 7.5/10 (whereas Big Score would get an 8/10).

The 2nd part really killed the movie for me. 2nd half really felt like they forced it to make the 90min. mark.

Plus, with Bender's Big Score, in order to reference things about the show, they wrote themselves out of some of the biggest moments, like Fry's Dog.

I enjoyed both movies a lot, and even liked Beast with a Billion Backs better than Bender's Big Score.

Get Smart - I havent seen any of the old series' episodes nor the previous movies so i may not get most of the references for them other than what is said in wikipedia.

The story of the film may be simple and also predictable but the movie really shines in it dialogue. Any movie that has someone threaten the enemy with Chuck Norris with a BB Gun definitely gets a +1 from me. I also think the actors are great with Steve Carell definitely fitting for the role. I am also surprised the Khali has a major role in the film and it is enjoyable too. Dwayne definitely has a lot of great moments too, especially at the end. The film definitely made me laugh a lot of times in both its jokes and physical comedy and that itself made the movie worth it.

    8.5+1/10

PS. If you dont know, a spin-off the movie has been released on DVD which features Bruce (Masi Oka) and Lloyd (Nate Torrence) in their own assignment which occurs at the same time as the film. I'll review it when i get the chance to watch it.

Get Smart's Bruce and Lloyd: Out of Control

Its a direct-to-DVD spin-off movie for Get Smart. It stars Bruce and Lloyd who are Max's friends who worked as technicians in CONTROL. This deals with them retrieving the invisibility cloak they have invented but was stolen by someone and plan to sell to to KAOS.

There are a lot of references to the main movie like Agent 99 asking them on why Max has better gadgets than her, the CIA spying on them, etc. Like the movie, it definitely has a great dialogue although the jokes are mostly something you will get if you watch news in the USA like the Emperor's Club, which took me a while to get.

If you watched the movie and liked it, i would recommend that you watch this too.
