On November 25th, in 1995, at 3:10 pm, I saw the first Toy Story in theaters.
I have the movie ticket here in my collection to prove it, and can offer you all the heart attack of knowing this "adult" labeled ticket was $3.75. I think this and Lord of the Rings are the only full trilogies I have seen all in theaters - LotR with my dad, and TS with my mom.
Basically yeah I just got back from seeing Toy Story 3 and I really, really enjoyed it. It is a good note to end things on, but I miss the 'outtake' reel. Maybe DVD releases, if I may dream as such. XD
I missed the previews is all I really regret, I bet there were neat things in there, :U

Just got back from Disney World, and saw this short presentation about how the characters in film evolve and change before they actually start making the movie. Long story short, Buzz and Woody looked very weird before they settled on the final look.
You realize the odds of that happening is like the same as getting mauled by a polar bear, and a regular bear on the same day.Hover to show signature
did you see it in 3d or norm? i heard theres lots o references to other pixar movies in it. i wanna see it..
WARNING:
If you see Toy Story 3 and you were a big toy player, it will make you come home and pull out your box of Ninja Turtles fondly.
Or maybe that's just me.

It definitely had a lot of self-reference to quotes from the first two Toy Stories. I think if you liked those, you will definitely like these. There was only one absentee character who truly broke my heart in this one, but the movie wasn't weakened by that. I don't believe 3D would have added much or felt like I was missing out on stuff.
And Chris, I actually SAW this movie in a TMNT shirt! XD The whole thing definitely made me miss my He-Man / She-Ra toy days.
For those who have seen/are going to see TS3, I had a Barbie dollhouse INCREDIBLY SIMILAR to the one Ken has in the movie. I also rewatched the My Little Pony movie a month or two ago for the lulz, and I had that castle and ballet set in there...and my cousin had a Voltron play set. I also distinctly remember a few Aladdin play sets, just before I started to get more involved with videogames. Good times. <3
