So... I was looking at this for a few months before it came out, and when it did come to the states officially I bought it.

I gotta say, dynamically its like WoW. The fighting, the schematics, the general concept is pretty much the same. But with similarities it makes up in graphics, story, characters, and community.

I played for about 2 weeks before I felt the urge to suddenly stop because, like all MMO's... they become redundant and grindage after a while. I might play again in the future but, in the time I played I really enjoyed it.

But like all new MMO's the chat boxes are filled with "WoW is better, fuck this game" over and over and over...

Luckily you can edit the chat boxes to only show what you want to see and ignore people with a click so that was handy.

I dunno, I put so much time into WoW that I find myself not wanting to start on another MMO. I'm happy with WoW, so until I get completely tired of it I don't see myself switching.

I didnt really try to look for it but i doubt they have one. They only started stocking PSN cards last month.

Forgot to ask, is the there pvp AND PVE in Aion?

Eitrigg/Horde/Theshredder(that's my 80 rogue... my 64 priest is Nakamo).

Pretty sure there is both PvP and PvE, but I'm not sure... I'll ask the guys in my class this afternoon since a bunch of them are playing it now.

Yes + some. Duels are naturally always there. Theres the "Abyss" area which is like a giant battleground PVP where you fly and fight the whole time, consider it like one side versus another side like... Good versus Evil, only in Aion both sides are just. The awesome part is that, in certain land areas, "rifts" open up to where if you enter, you get transported to the opposite side of the planet into the eenemy force where its you against.... everyone. But if you enter as a Legion or Group, etc. Its more fun to battle like that. The rifts only happen when you get to the level 20+ areas. And after level 25+ you get to fight in the "Abyss"

Its WoW with prettier graphics, and, if I hear right, less quests, more forced grouping. Besides, I'm finally doing the cool parts of WoW, hehe, no way I'm gonna quit now. Maybe in a few months to a year though...

Apparently you get banned in the game by being killed by a flaming squirrel... awesome.
