I’ve painted, pulled up all the carpet, leveled the foundation, installed engineered wood floors, and done a million little things here and there. This stuff isn’t really complicated, you just have to be willing to do it. People get intimidated by professionals and “it has to be done this ways”, but all that matters is the end product. How you get there is on you. The problem with not knowing what you’re doing is you tend to over build stuff. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing when it comes to your home.

Dragon's Crown yet again, but for PS4 this time. Haven't decided if I want to continue my save from 5 years ago or begin fresh.

Ended up buying about $200 worth of Cards Against Humanity expansions, but official and unofficial.

I have about 3,000 different cards to use for that game now.

Just went on a little vacation and then replaced the 3 windows in my house that were still the originals from the 70s... Time for a few months of saving up. Going to do my best to resist buying a full priced game until Kingdom Hearts 3 later in the year(hopefully).

The remodel of the new house is done enough that I think I can call the final price. About $20,000 for the inside.

Now I need to work on the yards and outside of the house. Not looking forward to that. Might worry about it next year.

A decade ago you would have kicked your own ass for saying this.

I just bought a $600 portable air conditioner to keep my studio apartment cold. I hate myself but it was a necessary evil to keep my sanity in the summer.

Funny enough, I was better off financially a decade ago but I was too dumb to buy a house back then.

It’s coming back around now though. I’m changing careers and getting back on track.
