    whelp...total waste of my day

started at 10:30, arrived at 10...waited for an hour then they explained stuff out of the way for like 20 minutes, twas around 11:40 that they gave us a break...went home did whatever...came back at 12:40 so i could get an good parking spot, waited another hour...supposed to start at 1:30 but ended up waiting 'till 1:50...turns out we had around 25 cases lined up...however they were all resolved and dismissed, therefore I waited for nothing and now I have a head ache from waiting cause thats what waiting long does to me...

[side note: technically the judge could've just told us sooner but in his defense a case a few months ago was dismissed early so everyone went home but found out it wasn't final or something like that, thats why he had us come back and wait...]

Does that mean you did your jury duty or will you still have one soon? Everything about this sounds terrible.

Cancellations and what not happens a lot, the jury that took place an hour before this one was actually cancelled...I also had a friend who had to do JD as well but it ended so soon before they even did anything...Not sure if it still counts though since all I did was wait.
I'm pretty much off the hook for now...I've actually been called for JD a few years ago but I think I was on vacation at the time...hopefully i'll be on vacation if they ever end up picking me again

I just tell them something racist while crying about global warming. It always gets me dismissed.

I actually went in for jury selection yesterday too!

...but after waiting for an hour the judge came in and said they just finished finalizing the jury from the panel the day before, so we could all go home.
